So, I bought a 1965 road bike and want to get the frame and fork restored. The frame needs stripping back and the rust sorting and painting black and the fork wants the same but the lower half of the forks need rechroming. Both will need decals and clearcoat applying after that. Anywhere know where can do this sort of thing, preferably in the London area as I can have a mate drop off/pick up.

I used Argos their work is exceptional but not cheap, they also fit reproduction graphics

Good quality and bike specialists, may not be able to help with re-chroming but worth an ask

the thing about rechroming, is that you have to de-chrome first.

ask on retrobike, they've got this stuff sorted.
