I'm looking to respray my scandium Kona frame but am a bit surprised by the prices of Argos, Bob Jackson etc. I had a BJ respray a while ago which was excellent, but their prices have gone up and shipment costs £35.

Any resprayer recommendations would be gratefully received. I live near Bath if there are any in that neck of the woods.

Cheers

Los

Triple-S, Bingley, West Yorkshire. Can arrange delivery etc too for you. Had my Blur 4X done there and they were excellent.

Just found out about them from another thread. Don't s'pose they would remove headsets etc or do a lacquer over decals?

Hmmm, doubt it. They normally specialise in old cars/motorbikes I think (hence the low price / decent work). I got a quote from BJ for my Blur. Was going to be about £50 more than Triple-S and they would have had my frame for 5 weeks. 4/5 day turnaround at Triple-S and a top job. Needed to clean a bit of powder out from the BB threads etc but they capped all the bearing surfaces etc.

I had one done by Triple-S many years ago and very nice it was too. When I asked again a couple of years ago the prices were bore no relation their website ie. they wanted over £80 for a standard metallic and I see it's still advertised at £49 !

What did yours cost DBW as they were good and I'd use them again if the prices were as per website HERE
