This has got too small *sob* and it's been sold to a mate whose coveted it pretty much since his son was born! My daughter doesn't ride that much now, but she she'll happily do a lap of the Verderers in the FoD and wants a bike she can scoot about on locally.

I have loads of 29er stuff going spare (wheels, fork, etc) and a full 10 speed transmission / XT brakes so really just need a frame. Even before she grew a bit more she could ride my 17.5 Solaris with the seat half way down.

Wondering about a M 29er. She'll probably not grow much more. Hardtail going to be better i think for the riding she does.. any ideas?

You've not mentioned a budget.. so, how about a Cotic Solaris?
What was wrong with yours that she rode? You know they are lovely and some of the colours aren't boring.

Budget is up to £650 for a full bike, maybe half that for a frame. I should have kept my Solaris and she could have that. It was a bit too big for here tho (I'm 5ft11) although I was running a long dropper. Might pop back onto cotic site and check sizing. Having just been on there to buy a flare max..

That niner is nice...

It sounds like she could just borrow any of your bikes when she needs one 🙂

Try Kinesis FF29 or On One for cheap new frames.
Or the Chinese carbon on ebay - might be worth a go for a few hundred quid.

@simon - I might lend her the fat bike if she's lucky 🙂

Some good suggestions there. Might try a WTD ad first..
