I got a Voodoo Nzumbo for my lad just over 1 month ago. I noticed yesterday that the bike has already faded significantly. The deep vivid orange is now a faded, much lighter matte.
He rides to school each day, parks it in the same place where it is exposed to the sun.
Now bikes are there to be ridden and I'm not too precious about it. However, this fading does seem premature. Is it worth following up with Halfords or should I just accept it as normal for a bike parked in the sun a lot?

Normal. The paint won't be the same quality as used on a motor car. Also reds and oranges do fade the worst in UV.
