IMG_2046.jpegIMG_2045.jpeg I acquired a non-matching Kingdom hex front and rear end. Top linkage pivot position is different so pondering the option of getting a linkage made. Does anyone do this? Perhaps a hobby CNCist? Will it ride like a dog and totally bugger up all leverage curves and geo? Any way to model it?

I have been looking for a matching front end or rear end but no success hence considering frankensteining these two together.
Well aware I will be flamed here for this!

Linkage is around 30mm too short.

cheers

How far off is it when you swing the bottom linkage down into position?

Bottom linkage has a stop built designed into it so wouldn’t go much further. Just experimented flipping that bottom linkage and can make something resembling a frame. What would be the concerns here? IMG_2061.jpeg

Without some forks, wheels and a shock in there it’s very hard to see what will work. You need to get the rear axle to a viable place for the geometry you want, that’s step one. And then you need the linkage to move through the travel pushing the shock - that complex arc has to fit with the shock sliding shorter.

If you can measure it accurately you can model it:

Now your frame more closely resembles this one...

My first query would be to Kingdom to see what pieces I had and how they fit together. If they've got something it'll be much faster, easier and cheaper than going down the CAD and Fab route.
