Sorry, this is very niche....
Is there a go to framebuilding supplies company in the UK other than Ceeway( http://www.framebuilding.com/)?
Not actually had a conversation with them yet but frustrated by their website being stuck in the 90s and lack of ability to gauges prices or availability let alone order online.
I'm just after some braze-ons. I'm probably being lazing and should just turn them up myself.
Ceeway are good, peter's always quick to respond and usually fairly cheap compared to other suppliers (other suppliers are not UK based). If you email for prices it's not a commitment to buy.
But yes, it is a business that's run in an old fashioned way.
As above - old fashioned but quick and helpful. Killer on a few braze-ons will probably be minimum shipping cost (£7 ish).
With a lathe you can make cheap threaded bosses by just skimming half the hex off an m5/m6 nut (so you have a round bit to fit in a drilled hole). Brass tube from B&Q can be used for cable outer / hose guides.
OK - I'll grit my teeth and send them an order request (and questions as the info on the site is far from clear). It's clearly a tiny niche market but am surprised no one has turned it into a little ebay shop that ticks over as a side line.
They have try paragon machineworks
Probably o e of the few guys making a decent living out of it.
I'm a hobbyist and have placed a few orders with them. It's slow compared to Prime orders from Amazon but frame building isn't a thing to be rushed, a day or two added doesn't matter
