Can anyone recomend someone in/around/near the Midlands, who could do some mods to an 853 steel frame...?

Mercian in Derby,had some work done on an old Kona and they were very good. Not cheap though

Doug Pinkerton, you have to wait a while I believe but I know a couple of people who are happy with his work. Repairs/modifications.

Thanks all, I'll make a few calls.
It's a daft idea of mine to have my SIR.9 adapted to run 29+ at the back.

One of the lads I know had Doug swap the V brake rear triangle on his Gunnar Ruffian swapped for a disc brake version. Did a good job by all accounts, he's just a busy guy so I understand it takes a while.

He posts on here, I'll give him a nudge.
