Anyone know of an off the shelf frame bag that will fit a V2 Scandal?

Planning a few trips this spring and think this would make life much easier.

Failing that, a pattern/blueprint I could use to make one?

If you're handy with a sewing machine (or know someone who is) this is a good guide on how to make your own

How about a Wildcat Ocelot? Doesn't fill the whole frame space but range of sizes there.

That's perfect twojumpers and doesn't look too hard.

Think we have a sewing machine somewhere and if I can convince my buddies to put in on material costs I can make a batch.

Cheers

The guide above is pretty good - I think there are bits in there you can almost certainly get away with not having - I didn't use anything to stiffen mine and there are no issues with it. I did put the zip too high making it harder to use, but not impossible - put it below the top edge of the bag.

Mine used straps and buckles not velcro, velcro is probably better.

I used water repellent cotton from here: http://www.abakhan.co.uk/fabric/multi-purpose.html?p=2

Made a frame bag and a handlebar harness from a couple of metres worth, looking at doing a top tube mini-bag from the leftovers.

I watched this some time ago when I was thinking of making my own frame bag (never did). Some great tips and hints.

Point North have a good solid range of outdoor fabrics.
