Any recommendations for a frame builder/repairer that might be able to replace the dropouts on an old steel frame?

I'm in Inverness but up and down to central belt fairly often.

Shand

I'll maybe drop them an email but I suspect they're so busy building bikes that they won't bother with repairs!

Kinetics in Glasgow May have done in the past but I think got too busy. You might have to go to someone like Argos in Bristol as there’s few doing this kind of stuff anymore.

http://www.rothaircycles.com/ In Glasgow.

I got some bits done by them, really good quality and a decent price.

See also Vandal Metal Works. Depends what kind of job you want.

Armour are good though and can also do a respray.

Was going to suggest Five Land, but looks like they only do (small) volume stuff and not one-off builds/repairs (except for prototyping). Their work is VERY good though...

Clarkston cycle centre still looks like they do steel frame repairs. I haven't had one done but they have been doing them for a long time, or at least offering the service.

I can probably fit this in.

drop me an email : steven@willowbike.com

I'm in Central Scotland but I'm in Inverness fairly often so could probably collect it or you could leave it at Velocity and I'll pick it up.

My Kona had exactly that done - from a batch that were notorious - at Kinetics, but uncertain if it's still offered.

Thanks for all the suggestions folks. More options than I thought but I'll start with Steven!
