Currently have my Sweeps set to 140mm travel, wanted to try 130 but it only adjusts in 20mm increments.

Read somewhere I could slot in a 10mm spacer meant for a Fox 34 Fork. Anyone know if that's likely to work and which ones I have to order?

It would have to sit under the travel adjust spacer pictured in the middle here.

I have mine at 150 and yes there is a reducer that clips on below that spacer. I would think Upgrade could get you one or you may be lucky and someone will sell you an unused one.

No idea about the fox part working

Cheers - haven't had much joy searching out Xfusion spare bits. I need a damper seal kit too at some point.

Fox stuff just looks more readily available.

Looks like a Fox volume reducer might slip on to the shaft there.

The spacers for reducing tgravel on a Fox actually thread on, dont think theyre what you need.

A travel spacer from the older fox forks with the coil negative spring looks like it would work. An old Rock Shox travel spacer from a dual air fork may also work. You may well be able to get a Rock Shox travel spacer from a bike shop. There always seems to be a lot of them about.

I'm not sure that volume spacers are what you need.

I'd be interested to hear how you get on as I'd buy some x-fusion forks if I could run them at 130

Thanks guys - will look into those.

I believe the newer Roughcut forks have 10mm increments from 160 to 100 - it's only the older versions that have the 20mm issue.

The older ones can be adjusted in 10mm increments using this spacer, I have Sweeps which were RL2 and had a roughcut damper conversion

Aha. This looks like it on the Upgrade site:

Looks like I'll have to call them up.

I’ve done exactly this to set my x fusion trace to 130mm travel. Bought a 10mm Fox spacer from mojo and installed on the spring side of the travel adjust spacer, it just sits over the rod, held in place with grease essentially by has nowhere to go once the fork is reassembled.

Hope that helps.

Buy these-

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M4-M5-M6-M8-M10-M12-NYLON-PLASTIC-SPACERS-STANDOFF-WHITE-ROUND-WASHERS/112408607056?hash=item1a2c133950:g:ySAAAOSwjqVZGiEh

and just cut a section out so they clip onto the travel adjust rod. You can buy a pack of ten for six quid.

Does anyone know what diameter to go for? I'll be looking to adjust my XFusion Slants and Fox Float 32's.
