I'm running a new 2020 Fox Transfer post mated to a Shimano dropper lever. When I attached the cable and tensioned it, it worked fine. But now it refuses to release the saddle correctly, stopping about an inch short of the 'thunk!' point. I have reset the cable, pulling the cable very tight. Works fine on the work stand, doesn't work on the trail. Anyone got any ideas? Is the Shimano lever a poor match for the Fox post??? Thanks in advance.

If working in the stand but not on the trail then maybe the cable is binding or getting caught somehow inside the frame when the suspension is compressed

Hmmm, good one. I'll pull as much out of the frame as I can...

I just ordered the xtr lever for 9120 brakes. 7mm cable pull apparently but I couldn't find any info on how much cable the transfer lever pulls.
Hopefully its compatible.
