Mine is proving reliable up to now. Lever action is very nice!

Used one on the Mojo Nicolai I demo'd. Clearly can't comment on reliability but the uppy downy action was nice and fast whilst the lever felt good to use. Getting one on my Nicolai when it arrives.

While the old DOSS post had an ugly lever and an odd 3 position setting, in terms of up and down, wasn't it one of the most reliable dropper out there? It would be nice to think that Fox made an effort to not slip backwards from there with the new post.

Wow. That's a proper big bike. Nice one.

Curous - why the X over the X2? Really impressed with my X2, not tried the X.

I don't think it works with other levers as the cable is the other way round. Also the fox one is the nicest one anyway

£30 for a southpaw is bad enough!

Out of the box it wont work with other levers (ie SouthPaw) as the nipple end is in the seattube, the clamp is on the lever.

Saying that, a few people in the US have had success using a KS Eten end clamp in the seattube and using a southpaw - Don't read too much into the failures.. 😉

I've had mine on for a 2 weeks now, been faultless. Think mine may have been one of the first in to TFTuned..

Oh, also, the Fox lever is very very nice to use.. (although coming from a Reverb that's not surprising!)

So they have you by the short and curly! £64 is just unbelievable.

I think the Speicalised command post lever is the same way as the Fox.

Got to say, it does make setting it up much, much easier..

If the post came with a lever and cost £64 more, but you had no choice of lever, would you still be so upset? 😉

At the risk of derailing your own thread......as it stands the X2 doesn't fit the G13 which I was a little dismayed about as it felt amazing on the mojo 29er demo. I believe Mojo are working on a fudge with offset bushings, more sag and running the shock with a more progressive tune to make it fit but after a pretty lengthy chat with one of the guys from Mojo who sorted out the demo on my local trails he's suggesting sticking with the float X. They're having a play around down in Wales so it may change to the X2 when the frame actually arrives but we will see. Open admission is that I don't particularly enjoy tinkering with suspension, I just like it to work which is part of the reason buying through mojo works well for me. It was certainly reassuring to see how long Toby spent adjusting various dials and spacers to get the forks and X2 set correctly for me on the demo.

Agree with the lever price being a non issue. The cost for both parts is competitive with the rivals.

Ah - assumed you meant a Mojo 29er Geometron, as opposed to the G13 - the G13 looks awesome, nice one.

One of the main issues I've had with the Reverb is the lever. Being hydro makes it a pain to fit or remove from a bike, the lever sits in a vulnerable place (I've seen a few hoses ripped off) and I really don't think there's any benefit to using a hydro hose.

The Fox lever sits perfectly below the bar on a 1X set up, feels good in use.

A replacement reverb lever is £86
