Open bath r versus fit rlc

Worth the money? Any real difference ( or does the kashima make the difference ( if you believe that too!))?

I started off with a 2008 Talas RL fork, its a bit like triggers broom where I have replaced the uppers to get a taper steerer for new frame, replaced lowers 2 years ago for 15mm bolt through and also paid to have the FIT RLC damper (mojo also replaced the old Talas system for this years talas system and increased travel to 140mm) Any ways I can say that when I used the forks with the FIT damper they were transformed, so much better over roots and repeated hits, tracked better, much better grip in the corners and they feel more sensitive to small bumps, completely transformed the bike. It is without a doubt a very worth while upgrade. I also put on some enduro seals which is the equivalent of having the slippery cashima coating IMO. (mine are not cashima coated stanchions) So to answer your questions...Yes and Yes and No!
