so the tophats seized into the bush in the shock, and made horrible noises. i managed to get them out, cleaned them up and stuck them back in with some grease and all seems ok, but for how long? they were a bit burred up so managed to get them trued up in the lathe and staighten them out - i should make some more when i have time.
surely a nice bushing/spacer the right size for the shock bushing diameter for the complete width would be better, and then a couple of spacers over that to stop everything flapping about sideways would be a lot better. anyone done this?
is this the bikes way of telling me to get a ccdb 🙂
