On my Jeffsy I have a Fox Performance Elite DPS shock, and I'd like to play with the air volume (specifically decrease the volume of air).
The Fox site (here) suggests I need : FLOAT DPS (9mm shaft) Air Spring Volume Tuning Kit: PN 803-00-802
But it seems that it's out of stock everywhere. There seems to be a newer kit here :
Would that work on my 2017 shock?
Silverfish have online chat and its very good
Why not just ask them??
According to the Fox website the 2018 volume spacer kit is backwards compatible with earlier shocks.
The trouble is, depending on what shock you have, you may only be able to try one or two of the spacers as the rest will be incompatible, making most of your £25 worth of spacers useless.
Thanks Akers - I found this page http://www.ridefox.com/fox17/help.php?m=bike&id=568 which confirms exactly what you say. I'll have some spare spacers to go in my big box of spare stuff that I'll never use but won't ever get rid of 🙁
Thanks also Carlos for your reply - on my browser here there was only an email contact form, no live chat, and as I was probably not going to get it from them (I live in France) I didn't expect Silverfish themselves to answer my query. But you're right, like many (all?) things on the bike forum, there were certainly alternative sources of information available to me (thankfully, sometimes 😉 ) so really good to remind me of that 😉
Result - it seems from the Tune ID of my shock and the table on that page that I could use all of them. Not that I will. But feels nicer that way 🙂

If you find the smallest 0.2" pink spacer surplus to requirements, I'll happily take it off your hands for a few quid. 😉 It's the only one that will fit in my shock, so I'm loathed to spend £25 on the lot...
