The rebound on my rp2 rear shock is playing around so I was looking to sending of for a full service £100 ish
Crc have the rp23 for £162 at the mo is this worth the upgrade ?
They have 200x51 in stock where's mine is 200x50, 1mm can't make any differance can it?

No, it'll be fine. 2 inches = 50.8mm, which gets quoted as 51mm at some places, and 50mm in others.

I have the same bike and same shock. I was also surprised at how much it costs to service the shock compared to the cost of buying a new one in a sale like CRC has currently or getting one second hand one.
But if you think about it, you'll still have to service the new shock at some point for the same cost. If the differences between the RP2 and RP23 are slight then you're spending £62 more than you need too.
I ordered the the rp23 from crc for £154 in the end.
May still get loco to service the my old one in the future as he seems the cheapest
