Looking at these to put on my 29er.  Your thoughts on use, performance etc.

Cheers

Looking at the ones with the boost spacing and 100mm travel.  Been out of the MTb loop for a while but Jeez oh they have jumped right up in price

CRC might still have some on sale. The 34s are excellent. I've lost track of which actual model I've got, ones with black stanchions. Love em.

Just checked - £300 on CRC

You sure about that?

I would also check service intervals; Fox used to be every 15 hours of riding (which is slightly ridiculous).

Well I have some Foxes of uncertain vintage, OEM of someone else's bike, but I can confirm that 46mm vs 51mm offset made a huge difference on my bike, being a Trek designed with G2 geometry and 51mm offset.  Bike was not good in corners on 46mm.  So IMO it's important.

So im guessing if you are after 100mm you are looking at 32's?  Its kind of a "how long is a piece of string" question without knowing which model you are after as to if they are any good.

I run Factory 36's RC2 in 160mm travel and they are absolutely brilliant, the newer model im told is even better.  Sure they are not cheap and its hard to walk past cheaper alternatives but for m totally worth it.

Yer offset is definitely 51mm as on the Trek webpage.  I'm looking at the 32's in 100mm with boost spacing. Thnaks for the feedback so far
