Found a split in the top of my fox forks about an inch long, i've drilled a small hole to stop it going further as it starts at the top of the tube! My question is 'how dangerous is this gonna be to ride' ! I'm not going crazy but just xc stuff. Help needed as doing welsh coast to coast next sunday, aah!

Cheers

can you get it welded?
edit:
just googled it and it turned out, that most manufacturers use aluminium grades that is not weldable

Age of the fork? You can get a replacement Crown steerer unit bit it might not be cost effective.
