New float x ctd shock in open mode it seems to make a whoosing noise under constant compression when descending? Is it a characteristic of the shock having a piggyback chamber? It's silent when I push down on the shock stationary in open mode but on fast descents where it's constantly using the travel it makes the noise?

Is it normal? Can't say as I noticed it the first few rides tbh but it's been mega windy up where we live so could well have disguised it, so not sure if it was like that from new?

It's about a month old just under

It's cavitating. Mine did this and its a warranty job. The kind guys at Mojo sent me a Kashima one as a replacement!
