You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Something inside the rebound/damper mechanism of my Fox shock has let go for the third time - knob just spins clockwise, you can feel knocking inside the shock on repeated hits. The shock is just over two years old, first time it was fixed under warranty, second time I got TF Tuned to sort it as part of a service. Having recently changed all the seals on it myself, I'm somewhat pissed off with the prospect of having to shell out another 120 quid to sort it.
Is this a known issue with Fox, or do I just have a duff shock? If I wasn't tied into the push-to-unlock Fox remote design, I'd probably have swapped it the second time around.
I’d pick up the phone to TF in the morning. That does sound unusual and they’ll be able to advise
Which shock is it? Seen a few cracked/snapped shafts on the DPS
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be unusual for this shock. I'm just not sure there is a permanent fix, and was interested if anyone else had experienced it.

It's weird that the knob only spins one way - I can find the detents turning it back the other way.
