I'm finally rebuilding my cavitated Fox RP3 shock (165mm/6.5").

I believe the IFP depth should be 48mm/1.9". I'm planning nitro pressure around 350psi.

The choice of oil (viscosity etc) will clearly have a big impact on the damping performance. Has anyone got recommendations for "off the shelf" oil I can use? (By default it would be Halfords motorbike fork oil :D)

Are any special tricks needed to keep the IFP at the right depth when adding/bleeding oil? Or will it just "stick" in place if I'm careful?

Any other tips?
