Ok , so my stanchion-worn 2010 fox 32 fork has been in the shed with lowers off for ages and I want to rebuild for a hack bike. Problem is , the steerer has been hanging down and the oil has dripped out from the internals I have lubed up seals and replaced the lowers and now am unsure where to put in the 10wt oil - the Fox service website says I need 160ml in damper side ( right leg ? ) and 30ml in spring side oil bath ( left leg?) . Does this get syringed in before tightening on the lowers or do I need to remove top cap from right leg and syinge the 160ml oil in there ?

160 into top of damper leg if you have the appropriate tools as it's easier, and 30 in the lower leg of the air spring side.

You have to remove the top cap and put it in there, I funnelled it into the bottom of the leg before putting the bolts in and tightening the legs up, when I turned the bike over and pushed down the seals blew out and the oil followed.
