I'll keep it quick and simple, I have a set of 2007 XTT Forks and have been given a 2007 RL cartridge that i'd like to try. But it wont fit! The cartridge crown threads are 2 very slightly different sizes, about .5mm on the vernier calipers.
30mm on the RL and 29.5 on the XTT.
Would a replacement RL topcap work?

Could be useful information I have parts for similar fox's which have different threads and don't fit together. So if it's a swap of a top cap I'll get it ordered.
