Setting up my Giant Trance X 29, it has a rear Fox Float DPS Performance 185/55. The Fox manual recommends double your body weight to pounds = 82kgs=180lbs and to use the pounds as a starting PSI (180psi), this seems pretty low to me. I have also seen a few setup videos recommending 200 to 220psi for my weight. What would you recommend for a 82kgs rider? (25% sag), Fox recommend 7 clicks on the rebound (middle of the dial)

180 is just a starting point. Increase/decrease from there to get the sag you want.

I'd say go to a bumpy section of trail (preferably with a drop to flat) and session it with a shock pump, tweaking until it's feeling great and only popping the O-ring off when you drop to flat.

When I had a DPS I had the rebound set more like two-thirds-open (fast) - but that was on an Orange.

The question is moot. Pump it up to 25% sag and go from there to your preference.

The pressure will be what the pressure will be.
