Just wondering if on float 32s the wiper seal and oil seal the same thing?
I've serviced some 888s and boxxers before and they both had separate wiper and oil seals but the service kit I just bought for my floats only has wiper seals but they have an additional ring inside that might be the oil seal? Looking on the Fox website there does not seem to be any mention of a lower oil seal either, can anyone confirm?
They are just the bog standard 'R' model if that makes a difference.
Cheers
Yep, just the one seal. There's a foam wetter ring that sits just underneath which the lube oil has to reach in order for it to function correctly. In fact you normally slide the seals onto the fork stantions, then the wetter rings, and use the seals to position the wetter rings.
Cheers buddy!
