Hi

got a rocky mountain alitiude 50 was thinking of swapping the 32mm front forks for something alittle stiffer and beefier.... so fox 36's seem to fit the job.

anyway from what i can see all the forks (2nd hand ones that i have looked at) are 20mm axle..... my current wheels and forks are 15mm.... is there a way to use my current wheel with a 2nd hand fork either converting the fork to accept 15mm or converting my wheel to accept 20mm? reading on some posts that 20mm hubs are wider.... if thats true i take it its new front wheel new front forks..... or new forks and somesort of conversion?

any help would be great

Doesn't the fox 34 come with a 15mm axle?

possibly... i will look into it just thought that if i was jumping up that 32 to 36 made more sense than just to the 34

True. Might be easier to rebuild the wheel with a 20mm hub.
