Hi there, I'm looking to service my own forks and looking for some new seals. I see there are a few different alternatives on the market.
Are 'SKF' any good? and how about 'Push'?
SKF are generally regarded as an upgrade to basic seals. Fox spares aren’t something I pay much attention to, but I thought Fox started specifying them as standard a few years ago though, so worth checking - they may be the exact item in a different pack at different price.
I'd got for the SKF ones as they are the ones that Fox supply. They seem ok to me and do what they're supposed to do.
Nice one, I think i'll give them a go. So frustrating that my forks seem to fall between years when the seals changed over to a different model.
The new flangeless Fox ones seem pretty good but you do need the proper tool to fix them - you can;t use a bit of old plastic waste pipe like you used to be able to. Unior do a reasonably priced tool.
