Just bought a new Orbea Wild FS and have noticed the Fox DPX2 doesn’t have a 3 position leaver for locking the shock in Climb / trail / DH mode. It seems to have 10/12 clicks of compression adjustment from firm to open.
Does anyone know of this is the norm on the new DPX2 and how it effects the lockout ability etc? Is it just more adjustable?
Thanks
Which model of DPX2 is it? Factory? Elite? Performance?
Same thing here - I think it is Performance model, It has LSC but no 3 way. Usually it is the other way around on the lower tier models - a 3 way but no fine compression adjust.
Performance Elite
What model wild FS? The orbea site does list a comp adjust model rather than a 3 position model.
Fox DPX2 Performance Trunnion Comp Adjust Evol LV custom tune 205x65mm
Is it HSC or LSC? I'm guessing HSC, is there a separate LSC adjuster? The factory models have the 3 position lever and LSC adjust in the open mode.
Sounds like an OEM special, no bad thing but I’m currently finding 3 positions very handy for lockdown riding to the local trails!

Mine is actually Performance Elite but same adjustment by the sounds of it
Yes, it’s performance elite on the stickers but listed in the spec as -
Fox DPX2 Performance Trunnion Comp Adjust Evol LV custom tune 205x65mm
Mine has the 3 way climb switch and the lsc, but my bike has a reasonably stead climbing platform so only used on long smooth climbs
The climb switch is useful but I found the LSC the essential thing to get it set up right
If I had to chose, I'd happily have the lsc over the climb switch
My performance dpx2 has a slightly clickier click in amongst all the others for the trail setting. It's pretty easy to miss if you're adjusting on the fly.
