Probably ridden 30 - 40 hrs on my new Turner burner with the standard ctd evo shock. Yesterday around Cannock, it seemed to randomly feel like it locked itself out. Particularly noticeable after a pedally section followed by rollers. As I pumped on the down slope it would feel rock solid in the rear.
Occasionally firmed up on some climbs, and I think on some descents, but harder to accurately work out what's going on when hammering (or mincing!) down.
It was always fine over bigger stuff like small drops etc. I could always make it go back to "working" by giving it a big old pump out of the saddle.
Any ideas what might be up? To my non expert eye, it feels like something is up with the low speed damping. Is this within service interval expectations for a new shock?
Think yourself lucky, mine refuses to lock out even when I ask it really nicely 😀
I always have mine in descend mode. Under normal working conditions it doesn't need anything else on the burner.
