i used silkolene rsf after getting recommended it. I use 5 and 7.5 mixed 50.50 instead of sus fluid and been using the 15 stuff for float fluid. But as im trying to isolate a prob with a set of talas i bought proper float fluid yesterday 8 quid odd at edinburgh bikes in the sale this weekend

it amazes me that some people will spend hundreds of pounds on suspension but try and save a few quid on the right oil to make them work properly.

buy what the manufacturer specs, they spec it for a reason and its not profit. they've already made their margin out of you....

Really?

I bet the margin on the consumables is much bigger than the forks. Have a look at Shimano brake fluid prices compared to the matching LHM fluid from a motor factors.

Any decent 7wt stuff will do the job, however some are a bit better the others personally Motul Factory line oil is what I use, so do these chaps

Fuch,Torco,Castrol or any of the other well known brands are good to.
