What do I need to make Hope Pro 4 Hubs fit Fox 36 forks with a 20mm thru axle?

Obviously an adapter to allow the 20mm axle but what about the additional width? An hour of googling and I am none the wiser!!!

Depends if the forks are Boost, 110x20 or not 100x20

Standard 20mm just needs a non boost and 20mm spacers. Width is in the spacers.

100×20

is that a thing? I thought 20mm was 110 width since forever? (Though ice a sneaky suspicion there is a new 110x20 boost which isn't the same as 110x20...)

Assuming you're converting a 100x15 hub to 110x20 it's just new end caps as the hub width remains the same.

As above i believe there may now be a be 110x 20mm boost standard. I'd guess this is a boost spec hub so will have narrower adapters than old type (width now being in the body not end cap).

If it's an older adaptable fork there are top hat reducers which go in the dropout to adjust for 100x15mm which you remove when converting to 20mm and you "find" the extra width there.

Thanks for the replies, these are the forks:

Would it be easier to convert the forks to take the 15mm axle that the hubs are already set up for?

Looking at the photos it doesn't add up to me - iirc fox dropped adaptable dropouts in 2016 and went to cam lever axles.

2015 dropouts were pinch bolt non lever and adaptable.

The arch on those doesn't look like 2015 onwards to me either.

Oh and you can buy the new fork for £90 more...

I have sold the wheels and the buyer has these forks and is checking they will fit. Personally I would of checked this before buying them!

Not sure the ones in the ad are ones she purchased or just the same forks!

If they're non boost wheels and non boost forks I'd adapt the wheels tbh as it's cheaper. A set of 20mm adapters for pro ii hubs will likely be cheapy cheap on eBay.

I think

if the Pro4 hub is non boost Hope kit HUB420
if the Pro4 hub is boost Hope kit HUB494

but I am not a LBS and it may be wise to double check with one

20mm axles have always been 110mm so like rubber said it just depends if the hub is boost or not as to what adapters you need.
