I have a 27.5" 170mm 36 Grip2. Due to wanting a new frame (looking at the new Hope HB916) I'm needing 29" 170mm and stupidly didn't buy them PSA Lyriks.

Do I need a new air shaft if I hoy 29" lowers on, or is the air shaft the same regardless of size?

The air shaft is the same regardless of wheel size. You just need some new lower legs.

Sweet! Looks like an HB916 frame will probably be ordered then.

Worth noting that if your 36's are 37mm offset, you might be better off selling them and just buying some 29er forks... 37mm offset would be particularly slow steering for a 29er setup. If it's 44mm, then crack on... And yes, you only need new lowers, not a new shaft too.

Ooh, interesting - can this be done with Pikes (2021)?
