Which would you chose for a 120mm XC/DC bike and why?
I have a 2022 Specialized Epic Evo Pro with a Fox 34 Factory Fit4 120mm fork, and another bike with a Fox 34 Float Factory SC FIT4 Boost MTB 120mm Fork which I bought from Merlin for a custom build.
The fork on the Epic is much better performing than the Step Cast on the other bike - plush where the Step Cast is harsh. Never had an issue with the older SID's & the new get great reviews so I'd be tempted to go with the SID.
I have a 120mm bike with Fit4, and 100mm with a SID Deluxe. SID feels like the better fork to me, even though it's a 32, and I'd imagine the 35mm version would be even better.
