Hi,
I want to put Fox 34 forks on my stumpjumper Evo for a bit more stiffness. I notice they are 160mm but I only want 150mm. Is it as simple as just dialling them down to 150mm? I dont want to put more strain on the frame. Is there anything else I need to take into consideration?
Cheers
Mojo will reduce them for you
I'm sure they will be fine at 160, I want a Stumpy to put my 160mm Lyriks on and have been told by a Specialized mechanic that the frame is more than strong enough.
It may be more than strong enough but the warranty says no more than 150mm
I've also been looking at a set of these for my stumpy FSR Carbon Comp, the Talas come with an adjustable dial on the top so you can wind them down to your desired height (120mm-160mm adjust).
Think the basic version is an internal adjustmenent only but as stated that would be done by Mojo

So if it breaks strip it down before taking it in and tell them thats what you were riding it at.
Isn't the 34 pretty much the same length at 160mm as a 32 is at 150mm?
That tracy is a very similar build to what I want. How does he find it? Much lighter than the 06 Enduro?
Lighter than his old Enduro, alot lighter than his old SX Trail. Not sure what he will take to the Alps yet.
