Does anyone know where to get foam rings for a fox 34 without buying a set of seals too?
Fox sell them as a kit with seals.
You can buy aftermarket ones, ebay, ND Tuned, Enduro etc
Any recommendations for specific rings ebay or elsewhere? I can't see any branded (e.g. Enduro) ones. The Enduro ones are described as 'best quality foam felt oil ring' - which sounds like the original ones. The sets of rings I can see on ebay look like more like washing-up sponge. Do the Rock Shox 35mm ones fit fine?
So I tried the Rock Shox rings and they don't really work. They're not the same nice 'felty' material as the Fox ones; and they don't fit perfectly.
I'm guessing the lack of replies means there's not a good source of these, so this is now just a rant about lack of spares from Fox.
A bag of 50 ND Tuned 34mm rings is 40 euro RRP.
The ND foam rings do look more like the RockShox foam than the Fox foam at a guess.
There are unbranded 34mm foam rings on ebay.
