This maybe a stupid question but I have some 2015 Fox Talas 150/130 27.5 forks, would it work if I were to swap the lowers for some 29er lowers?
Obviously the travel will decrease but not too fussed about that as they are to replace some 120mm travel ones
Anyone had a go at doing this?
It might be possible, but will probably be cheaper to sell, and buy the correct forks.
Not really viable as the 27.5 lowers although nearly new are a little bit twisted due to an off on their second outing, it is only a tiny bit and you can only see it if you look straight down the length of them, so I presume I wouldn't get much for them, not sure how much I would have to give for some 29er lowers though
