I've just bought a bike with a pair of these hanging off the front (Performance Elite). It has a 3-position remote which sets the fork to lock, fully open and to somewhere in between,

It also has a black dial which it seems is meant to dial in compression adjustment when the fork is fully open. The dial on my fork only turns about an eighth of a turn though: is this as expected? If I turn it with a bit more effort, the whole arrangement turns as if the remote is being operated but then pops back under the cable tension to fully open.

Should the dial be behaving differently? Ta in advance

If its the same style Fit 4 3 position with remote adjust in a 32 as a 34 then if it has been forced they are easily damaged (compression needle clip forced into the lockout selector)

Cheers and er, shit. Definitely haven't forced it in any way before noticing the problem. I've only ridden the bike once...

Could be damaged as the compression adjustment knob has to be loosened/removed to slightly lift and rotate the black cable housing and could have been done on assembly either brand factory or in store. Take it back for a warranty/repair
