Osprey pack, full of tools, SOS device & car keys.

Accurate description of contents required to re-unite.

There was no Coke or Hookers to be found, so no shaming here.

Well, clearly they'd taken off the pack to get the coke and "engage" the hooker

half an apple, gideon bible (SOS device, obvz), complete works of shakespeare ?

Some poor sod stashed his pack whilst he went for a stealth crap?

Guess what happened next? 🙂

Left his wipes in the pack so double whammy.

Thanks for keeping the post current.

That’s a bit odd to leave your pack and car keys etc. Has OP rung local Police to say he has it?

There may be some poor sod wandering around Borrowdale unable to get in to his car because someone nicked his pack!

I left a pack full of gear on a family ride once - stopped to eat, buggered about getting the kids ready to restart and taking photos. Totally forgot about it.
Tried local police, cafes, shops over the course of a couple of weeks. Never got it back; some bastard just took it.

Wow, thief & "bastard" , that escalated quickly, you wouldn't even get that kind of pitchforking in Borrowdale.

I guess it shows you care?

No shops or pubs in the location & Police Station some considerable distance away.

Will report and hope the sheep rustling isn't pre-occupying them.

Reporting to 101 if not in person must be the first port of call?

... Don't worry, the "bastard" bit only applies if you were on the seafront at Mudeford in about 2008

It does remind me of a climbing route called something along the lines of "get off my bag you thieving little bastard"

Did they explain how they came to misplace it?
