One of the pistons has stuck and I can't find the tool anywhere on the internet to take apart the caliper.
Any tips on fixing the sticky piston without disassemble or how to remove the cap without a specific tool?
Formula don't sell the tool so people can overhaul their own calipers, but sell the seals and pistons, which is a bit crazy, they wont even sell it to LBS'S! Which year the one is it? If it's pre-2010, I modified a T70 torx piece to fit the bore cap, as it's a similar shape, it now fits great and doesn't damage the cap. If it's 2010 on, I think there was a guy on ebay who machined a tool to fit. Or if you have access to a compressor, the pistons can be removed with air, without taking the bore cap off.
Hi, great reply
It's the 2010 model.
