Hi
My Formula T1 (2015) brakes have a leaking rear piston. I can't find a 'T1' seal kit, only:
or
Will either fit?
When it comes to replacing them, do you need a special tool to remove the cap, or as I read on some blog, do you pop out the offending piston (something about using compressed air) and put it back together?
Thanks!
Anyone?
This is what you need (but out of stock):

You don't need to remove the coloured cap and what I would do is:
1) Remove pads/zip-tie over the non-leaking piston to stop it push out
2) Pump the lever to push out the other piston
3) Remove/replace seal then re-insert the piston with plenty of the special grease which is included
I would also replace the other piston seal for piece of mind, but you'll need to put more DOT in to the caliper in order to get the other piston pushed out.
looks like there may be a wider issue on non-availability - this place has them in stock (allegedly) so may be worth ordering sooner rather than later!

Good luck on the fix - leaky formula brakes and faffing bleeds sent me (almost) nuts in the end and I've since moved on.....
Brilliant, thanks Strike!! That part no is for 2012/13 - I guess it will fit a 2015 model?
Yes - pretty sure it will. You my want to call Silverfish and check.
Thanks - will do...
for anyone else looking silverfish confirmed FD40117-10 is the correct part no.
Which caliper is it? Pretty sure I have a spare The One caliper though it might be older than yours.
Thanks Northwind, it's a rear 2015 'T1' - in silver. I've ordered some seals but if that doesn't work out I may well be in touch!
Ah mine is definitely different then. Also black. Probably intercompatible but a bit of a crap option realyl!
