Looking at maybe buying a pair of these from CRC. Does anyone know if they come with a spare olive/insert to enable me to trim the hoses?

Cheers

I got some T1s from Merlin and they came with the brakes and discs but no spares. Are they full retail packaged or OE?

(Make sure you check the bleed valves and calipers don't have any residual fluid as my rear one did and took a while to clean and get right).

I bought some a month or so ago, came in CRC packaging with no spares, I'm hoping my older Oro olives will be the same as the hoses are incredibly long.

Looks like it will have to be a formula hose kit at £7 an end then

You should be able to get the olives separately, CRC usually has them for a couple of quid. The barb and o-ring is reusable.

My retail Formulas came with 2 hose shortening kits though.

I can see that CRC stocks a 'pin kit' and 'compression fitting' seperately. Would that be enough to shorten the hoses as everything else is reusable?

Sorry for the 20 questions, never had a set of formulas.
