K24 front lever started sticking so stripped them and found the seal swolen.
However I failed to notice that the seal was not symetrical until it was too late to note its orientation.
Any ideas on which way round it goes?
Thanks
This rings a bell from when I replaced my master piston about three years ago. I think it doesn't matter as the asymmetry is what causes things to change when you move the FCS adjustor. If that makes no sense with what you have in front of you then please ignore as my memory is very hazy!
EDIT; Maybe this will help?;
Looks as though the fattest part of the piston seal is towards the lever with the FCS lever at the top.
Ahhh, yes.
As you rotate the little lever the tapered seal covers or uncovers the port. I see that now!
Thank you very much.
I should be able to work this out, now.
