Have got some wobble in Formula rear wheel - not sure which model but it is Whyte branded XC-209-C Team Carbon Wheelset. Have opened wheel up and freehub came off easily, freehub bearing seems fine. Drive side looks like pic below, and when I pull the axle it moves a tiny bit in and out, which seems to be the amount of movement when the wheel is in the bike.

How can I get the axle out to check the hub bearings?

Non-drive side looks like this but I can't work out how to take that end cap off (maybe clamp in vice jaws with electrical tape to protect?). There's some sort of large allen notches in there, haven't seen anything like this before and little Formula service info online.
