The advertised consistency, modulation and short lever throw sounds spot on, is this the reality from users?

You mean the advertising bumf from the manufacturer?

Did they, or any other manufacturer,  really not consider the rider's needs in their previous models??

TJ would definitely not be influenced by this line of marketing - be more TJ 😁😁

So I've been running Cura's since May last year.

In the past Ive had M9020, M820, Guide RSC, M785..

The Cura's have the power at the least of the M9020, modulation of the Guides but the fade resistance of the Saints (even after a week in Les Arcs - where the Guide's faded out!)

My only criticism is that there are no direct mount options for iSpec 2 shifters - there are for Sram and Ispec B though. I had difficulty getting the positioning perfect with my XTR shifters, in the end I've swapped the shifter for an XX1 direct mounted (which does work perfectly with an otherwise XTR groupset)

I'd definitely buy them again.
