Ideally wanting some DT swiss twin shot 120mm 650b fork? but they only do single shot!
So thinking some 29er dt twin shot at 100mm travel axle to crown very similar to 120mm 650b
What are your thoughts using 29er forks for 650b?

Well y two cents.
First you need to check fork off set, as I understand it a 29ers is greater something like 51 mm rather than 46mm on 27.5 forks, you could end up with poor handling.
if you do a net search you will come with more info about this.
But I do believe that at price verses performance you should look at the xfusion Range of sweeps dla will give you a 160/130 travel adjust or I believe there RL ones can drop/set the forks at 120 for you internally all for less than half the price of fox forks and to be fair all makes. I've got 2 sets slants on my 26 hard tail and I'm very pleased with them plush as a cuddly toy :-), and a set of sweeps waiting to build into a turner burner I've got sat here till I'm ready to build it.

Good luck.

Just use 26" Fox forks, they work fine.

Another vote for X-Fusion

In a world of stupid priced forks, they really are an absolute bargain!

In proper STW style I'm recommending White Bros Loops since that's what I've got!

I've got some 26" fox running 650b but they aren't quite ideal - more of a bodge as it's on a 26" bike with 650b wheels in.

Got some white brothers loops coming next week for a proto 650b carbon frame I'm testing so I'll let you know what they're like in a few weeks...

White bros forks???
I had some a few years back and when they were worn and needed service no one would touch them? So who would service them now?

White Bros can be serviced by Ison - all parts are available.
