Fork query for an Ibis Tranny build, what would the STW massive go for:

- 2013 Rockshox SID 100mm RCT forks @ £359.99
- 2012 Fox F100RLC FIT Kashima @ £399.99
- ...or take the 2011 F120RLC FIT Kashima from my short travel full sus for the Tranny and then put some 2013 Fox F120 CDT FIT Kashima on the full sus? This will cost abit more though... (£638)...

I was thinking I would probably put 100mm forks on a Tranny but what's a Tranny ride like with 120mm forks, presume it's a hell alot of fun but still pretty quick (mine would be a 21 lb ish build)?

I've run 120mm forks on my Tranny since I had her/him/it, it's an absolute blast. F120 RLC FIT, still goes up really well with not too much wandering on really steep stuff. Great gong down.

Tried to keep the puns to a minimum.

As above, run 120 fox on my tranny, rides brilliantly, would definitely recomend going with 120 over 100, doesnt affect climbing and you get the bonus of the extra travel on the way down. 😀

LeeW & richen987 - cheers for that, it's the more expensive option but going down the 120mm fork route sounds like it could be good one.

yunki - that is one seriously bling fork.

I wouldn't settle for anything less when I'm scoffing a pot noodle
