Without breaking the bank what would you recommend in 29er 140mm travel. Rev in mid travel feels harsh and rebound not a lot of difference between clicks on the adjuster.
Probably a service & tune by a suspension specialist like TFTuned, they could tweak it to your preferred characteristics.

Charger 2.1 damper upgrade, plus the latest debonair spring.
I had a 2018 revelation with the motion control damper on my old bike and completely agree that on small to medium hits it was harsh, and rebound didn't do much.
The charger 2.1 RC2 damper basically gives you a Pike Ultimate, you can get the RC2 damper which gives HSC/LSC control for £333, or the 2.1 RCT3 damper is £225 (looking at TFTuned prices) - if you're doing that you may as well add the £42 debonair spring (and you could go up to 150mm travel if you wanted).
Or as an alternative to the 2.1 Charger, there's the Yari Up damper upgrade. I'll probably go that way with mine.
I used to have a first gen Yari and thought it was half decent, but the new Debonair versions are awesome. Even if you do it in stages, definitely go for the air spring upgrade as it's relatively cheap.
Not sure the Yari damper fits a Revelation or Pike.
I have gone the same way as TallPaul, but not given it a proper testing yet... (Also changed the wiper seals to TF Tuned low friction ones).
Depends what you call breaking the bank?
Set of 29er 140mm RS Yari RC Solo Air off Wiggle £399 and a luftkappe or Deboniar upgrade??
It should fit (it's listed as a Yari/Revelation damper despite the name).

If you fitted it, then you are right, but when I was looking for the correct part, all indications were that a Yari / Lyrik damper was different to a Pike / Revelation damper (eg. https://www.tftuned.com/fork-parts/rockshox/dampers/c304 ) I guessed it was a different internal tube diameter, but don't know.
If you put your fork part number (on the back of the crown) into https://trailhead.rockshox.com/en/ it should flag up the upgrade options / part numbers.
There is a big table in the SRAM website somewhere too...
Novyparts Splug damper. Better than a charger and cheaper too.
Sorry @binman, I was referring to the Fast Suspension Yari Up damper, not the official stuff. Sorry for the confusion 🙂

Sorry, was just being a bit slow.
Will look it up ! I found it here
https://www.fast-suspension.com/en/mtb-fork-kit/4-up-kit-for-fork.html some nice reviews !
They seem to do 4 different models, so the Revelation Up Damper would be the right one for the Revelation fork 👍 but I get what you mean.
Cheers..
First and foremost just get it professionally serviced. Will make a world of difference if its been well used
Sell the revelation fork and just buy a pike. It will probably be cheaper than changing bits.
