Quick question for you all.
I assumed that fork travel would be defined by the length of the stanchion. Thing is my 150 sektors look longer than my 160mm Marzochis, so decided to do some measuring....
150mm Sektor SA - Actual stanchion length = 160mm
160mm Marz Micro ti air - Actual stanchion length = 155mm
Fox FL 100 - Actual stanchion length = 115mm
The Marz were bought second hand so i'm wondering if someone put a spacer in there, likewise have i not put my Fox back together correctly after a service. Never touched the Sektors however which were bought from new.
Any ideas?
Could be down to tolerance too. My dropper post is 95mm +/- 5mm. Wouldn't surprise me if forks were similar
