Hi, don't usually post on here but thought I'd ask the advice of STW.
Does anyone have a decent solution for protecting my forks when padlocking my bike up? I ride to and from uni and work each day and it's only matter of time before the stantions get scratched from other bikes. Just wondering if there is anything on the market that will cover them and can be fitted/removed quickly and easily?
Cheers

Get a pub bike/free cycle bike for commuting to uni.

If my bike was good enough to worry about scratches I wouldn't be locking it up anywhere.

Cut up an old hybrid tyre and fix it with some velcro straps?

We use pipe lagging. Cheap, weighs nothing and doesn't need anything to attach it.

Do they still do police auctions etc? something that costs the same as a round of drinks for commuting and locking up outside
