I run some old knackered Judys on my pub bike.
The damping has gone in them so they bounced around, and they made the front end way too high, so I've pulled the springs out and replaced the top caps. The forks are now permanently bottomed out. I can't see this doing any harm, but am I wrong? Will I in fact die?

So you're now running rigid?
Wow, all you need to do is spray them silver and say that Jeff Jones designed them this way and you'll be able to sell them for a fortune.

Oh, have I inadvertently invented a new niche? Suspension-look forks? Awesome.
But yes, running rigid. Springs currently sat on workbench, about to go in bin. Don't know what I'm expecting to happen from running them this way really, but you never know.
